Page 1: Waddle, Waddle! The side door swung open…
Waddle, waddle!
Any penguin in a school uniform stepped inside. It wore a white shirt, blue suspenders, and a litle backpack.
The students gasped.
“A penguin? In our school?!”
Some whispered. Others giggled.

Page 2: Uh-oh! Too Short! Pepper waddled to the stage.
It looked up.
Uh-oh… the steps were too tall!
It stretched. It hopped. It stretched again.
Nope!
The students burst into laughter.

Page 3: A Helping Hand
“Let me help!” said the gym teacher.
He lifted Pepper up, easy as a feather!
Pepper dusted off its uniform and straightened its tie.
Time to be serious!

Page 4: A Tiny, Nervous Voice Pepper took out a small piece of
paper. It squinted.
“Uhh… the letters are too tiny, teacher! I think I need glasses!”
The students giggled.
Pepper tried again.
“H-h-hello, e-every…b-b-body! I am… P-Pepper! I come from far, far away!”
It paused. It took a deep breath. Then, it dropped the paper.
“I am a penguin! I love the Earth! I came to school!”
The students clapped and cheered!
