My Climate Story – Sierra Meadows
Let’s just say the world ended a week from now
What would you do? What would you do?
Only seven days that we’re counting down
Do you know why? Cause water’s running low
Why not tell somebody we need change before it’s too late?
Why not tell somebody respond because it cannot wait?
Just tell somebody the water level needs a raise
Cause you’re running out of time, don’t wait another day
Tell them that crystal tears are shedding now, yeah
Tell them that life’s no good without
(And with) everything to lose, everything to prove
Are you gonna tell the truth? Oh-ooh
What would you do?
They say a change in heart can really unite, we’re
Stuck on this boat together, larger than life, yeah
Hey, all these meadows are way too low and too dry
I’m a spread the word until we do right
Why not tell somebody we need change before it’s too late?
Why not tell somebody respond because it cannot wait?
Just tell somebody the water level needs a raise
Cause you’re running out of time, don’t wait another day
“We need to protect Sierra
Meadows, oo oh”
Join me in the movement
To restore, restore
Tell them that crystal tears are shedding now, yeah
Tell them that life’s no good without
And with everything to lose, everything to prove
Are you gonna tell the truth? Oh-ooh
What would you do?
(Yeah)
(What would you do?)
Everything to lose, everything to prove
Are you gonna tell the truth? Oh-ooh
What would you do?
