Introduction
Hydrogen-powered vehicles are vehicles that use hydrogen fuel as a power source. This type of vehicle converts the chemical energy of hydrogen into mechanical energy, either by burning hydrogen in an internal combustion engine or by reacting oxygen with hydrogen in a fuel cell to run an electric motor.
The biggest benefit of using hydrogen as an energy source is that it can react with oxygen in the air to produce water vapor and discharge, effectively reducing the air pollution caused by other petroleum-fueled vehicles.
