What’s it made out of?
Mostly wood, the walls are made of wood. The backyard has stone.
Sources of energy
- Wind
- solar
They conserve energy because both are renewable sources of energy and can be obtained forever.
Conserving energy
- Passive solar energy, the windows
- Active solar energy
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Insulation
- Outside hanger
These conserve energy because they are using the least amount of electricity and energy. For the solar heating, it is a renewable source and can be obtained forever. And the rest save electricity.
Energy conserving actions
- Turn off the lights
- Not use the dryer
- Bike
- Only load the dishwasher when it’s full
- Shower for only short periods of time
Purposes
- Design an eco-friendly house using different methods to conserve energy
- Make it as realistic as possible
- Have fun making this project!
