The Climate Action Project (CAP) at Stanford Online High School isn’t just a place to talk about problems—it’s a platform for multifaceted learning. Weekly meetings alternate between deep-dive “topic lectures” (covering the economic, scientific, and legal aspects of the climate crisis) and “current events” sessions where members debate the latest environmental news. Club also host Bayland Nature Preserve park clean up event and joint force with other bayarea clubs to host booth at local festivals and events.
“Students should be interested because we don’t only talk about the issues, but offer many opportunities for students to get involved,” says student leader Shen.
