August 18th, 2025, I had the honor of attending Boba tino. Bobatino is an annual festival held by Cupertino, where different organizations come together to spread awareness. While the event was on going, boba was being sold as well.
I got to volunteer for Ecolyst at Bobatino. During this event, we were able to spread awareness about the environment while also holding fun events for people to try out. One event was filling out a survey and getting a prize. Lots of people came to our booth to sign out a survey. In the end, it was very interesting seeing everyone’s opinion on the enviorment. Surveys weren’t the only thing we did. We also had a worksheet people could answer to get a free toy as well. On the side of our booth, we also had t-shirt designing going on. People were able to come to our booth to design their own t-shirt. The t-shirt they had to design had to be associated with the environment, so it was wonderful seeing everyone’s beautiful designs about the environment. Later on, these t-shirts were showcased at the Santa Clara art and wine festival.
Bobatino is truly a fun and wonderful place where people can learn more about different organizations. It felt good spreading awareness about the environment to more people, while also letting everyone use their creativity to design their own t-shirt.
